Who am I?

During the weekdays, I’m a Graphic Arts Coordinator/Copy Editor in prepress. In the evenings and weekends, I design covers, and sometimes, I’m a writer…or I try to be. My love of crafting a tale seems to flow over into my crafting of covers. I love to create covers that suggest the story, or suggest a story in the case of my pre-made designs.

I approached Sheri L. McGathy because I wasn’t satisfied with the quality or design of my covers. I do not have the tools or the skills to create a professional cover on my own. Sheri helped me by listening to what I had in mind for my covers. Then she would give me a draft to look over. The first draft wasn’t always what I’d have in mind, but that was okay, we’d work together until we’d find the perfect fit for my book.
   The result was a high quality professional design for my cover.
   One thing I liked was how easy she was to work with, she never seemed frustrated when I had changes. Or if for some reason I had trouble conveying what I visualized, she’d just go back to the ‘drawing board’ and start again. And there isn’t one cover she has created for me that I haven’t loved 100%.
